Qualifications

- Experience in the field of instrumentation & control related to the field of procurement, installation, construction supervision, calibration, maintenance, pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup in the
power stations gained on international projects.
- Experience in diagnostic check, troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation and control in Power plant. Through understanding of Control Loops, Field instruments and Control Actuator, Calibration and Maintenance.
- Knowledge and working experience on different control system such as DCS, PLC, Fire Fighting Systems. Practical experience in GE-Speedtronic, Siemens DCS Telperm-XP/T2000, SPPA T3000, Simadyn-D Controller, FAIL Safe systems ( S5 95F system), PLC SIAMTIC-S5 / S7, LM6000 Gas Turbine, Allen bardley PLC, gas detection system, gas flow computers, gas chromatograph analyzers, and Continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS),
- Good working experiences with hazardous area instrumentations in the field of gas and oil.
- Good working experiences with Gas, and Steam Turbines and HRSG`s.
- Capable to follow the progress of all projects assigned during design and construction phase.
- Capable to plan, prepare, and execute start-up and commissioning activities for turbine controls such as Steam, Gas turbine control application.
- Having hands on experience in routine, breakdown, preventive maintenance and shut down activities in power plants.
- Proficient in interpretation of control diagrams including PID, Ladder logic, hard wire relay logic, function blocks and loop drawings.
- Tender evaluation.
- Good knowledge in computers, software, hardware and peripherals, able to work with multiple operating systems (DOS, windows, Linux and Unix) and DCS Network System.
- Constructing and maintenance networks with various versions of windows.
- Complete knowledge of computer hardware maintenance, Software recovery and have knowledge of using: Microsoft office.
- A Certification on (windows) from Scientific Computer Center - Mansoura University.
- A Certification on (JAVA + C) from Scientific Computer Center - Mansoura University.
- Skilled at building strong team environments, fostering open communications, promoting concepts of integrity, quality, and teamwork.
Fluent in English. Good communication & inter-personal skills. Can easily adjust to any ethnically diversified working environment.
Current Job:
From October 2013 – Till now
- Specialist Instrument Maintenance Engineer at State of Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water Sabiya Power Station.
- Man power supply kharafinational company.
- Responsible for I&C maintenance of Sabiya 4 GE Frame 7EA Gas Turbines, Control System (MARK VI).
- Responsible for I&C maintenance of Sabiya LM6000 PC Gas Turbines, Control System (Woodward Micronet Control).
- Responsible for I&C maintenance of Sabiya Distillation Plant with Recarbonation System, Control System (Siemens DCS Telperm-XP/T2000).
